Midnight at the Starlite

Are you lonesome tonight? Well pull up a barstool, order a round of shots and load up the jukebox. This collection emerged from the ether somewhere between 2002-2005 and is directly inspired by the great David Lynch. Blending rockabilly and 50s/60s ditties, the result is a dark, whiskey fueled creep-out, a real humdinger that seems perfect to kick off the fall season. Whether alone in the corner of the bar or preparing for a night of hell raising, this mix will get its red right hand tight around your black heart.

GAIA: Animus

Four summers ago, I created a world music influenced mix called GAIA: Songs of the Earth. Here is the followup. It's a little more rough around the edges, being inspired by tribal dance and ecstatic trance. Like an exhibitory state of heightened awareness, it builds in energy to a frenzy before being unleashed into the cosmos, to finally return, altered somehow. Apropos of my current personal journey, I hope you can delight in it too. Great for shaking off the dust (maybe while cleaning?), letting loose and dancing like no one is watching.

GAIA: Songs of the Earth

Hello All. Well, summer has finally wound down, and yet it's not quite fall. We find ourselves between the worlds, reflecting as the year begins to wane. With all the internal movement happening with me lately, it's the perfect moment to finally release this mix I made a number of years ago, a blend of world/dance music to reach the soul. The brand new followup will be released at the end of the week, but let's start from the beginning. I hold this collection very dear to my heart, and it will get you moving toward your own inner self.  Namaste!
